The Senior Model Experience

Wow….Where do I begin…. It was such a fun weekend!!!! FUN, what am I saying? It was more than fun…it was AMAZING!!!!  Five extremely beautiful and wonderful girls spent the day with me shooting on Saturday and we had a fabulous time!  The day started with a little lunch at my house, makeup & hair, and lots of clothes. When I say lots, I mean lots! Tons! Piles of clothes! Lol.  When you tell a teenage girl to bring 3-4 of their favorite outfits, it really means a suitcase full of everything in their closet! Ha ha.  And I loved every minute of it!!!  I loved going though their wardrobe and picking out rockstar outfits with them!  I loved getting to see them get all made up with hair and makeup and watching them light up. Most of all, I loved getting to know these five girls!  Among all the applicants, I could not be more happy with the five girls that I ended up getting to know. They are fun, quirky & so full of life!  There wasn’t a dull moment the entire day and I just loved it! Did I mention, they ROCKED the camera! Like seriously ROCKED it!  We shot at four different locations ending in a beautiful overgrown field at sunset and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Then we all bonded some more over dinner.  It was the perfect ending to a fun filled day.  I got so excited as I started looking through their images yesterday and I can’t wait to start sharing them.

First, I must give a HUGE shout out to a few people that made Saturday possible! Carissa, owner of Bella Boutique, who loaned us these gorgeous clothes to use for our shoot!  LOVED the clothes!  In fact, as I was returning the clothes yesterday, I ended up buying some! I can’t ever go in her boutique without walking out of there with a fantastic outfit! Or two. Ok, maybe three or four.  Haha!  At least I have cute clothes to wear now!  : ) I also must thank my makeup artist and hair stylist, Brittney Byrum who did an amazing job as always! I just love her! My hair stylist, Samara Munoz,  who we could not have done Saturday without!   My videographer, Brian Marlin for following 7 girls around all day and filming…..I know that could not have been an easy task putting up with us!  So very excited about my upcoming video Brian!!! I cannot forget my sister, and amazing assistant, who I could not live without!  And last but not least, my husband, who so very willingly dragged our huge and beautiful blue sofa, very carefully with lots of love, out into a field for me!  Now that is what you call love! : ) All of these people made this shoot a huge success and fun filled day for these girls and I can not thank them enough!

Be looking for some sneak peeks in the coming days and please show the girls some love! But for now, here is a little recap of our time together Saturday…
