Welcoming Walter Vincent IV | 6 days new | Nashville Newborn Photographer

I am so thrilled to have met Walt, Liz, and their brand new son Vincent last week! Liz and I share the same doctor, whom I must say is amazing, so when I received contact from Liz…I automatically knew she had good taste! And while my favorite part of my job is snuggling all these adorable little humans all day long, my next favorite is the design process! I am obsessed with the design process!   I am so obsessed that I do it in my sleep! Haha. When I started discussing colors and ideas with Liz for their session, I got really excited when she sent me a design photo of her nursery. I fell in love with all the gorgeous neutrals, and pop of deep blue in their awesome painting, and knew right away that would be a huge inspiration for their session!  This shoot has ended up being one of my favorites to date.  I love every thing about it! And Vincent was a model baby to work with…a head full of hair, adorable kissable cheeks, and fuzzy wuzzy peach hair arms! I loved him to bits! He is just perfect!

A little about sweet Vincent’s arrival…

Walt & Liz were so thrilled when they found out last June they were pregnant and that their dream of starting a family was coming true!  They knew right away that if their baby was a boy, he would carry on the family name, Walter Vincent Bagwell IV. Walt wanted to call him after his own grandfather, Vincent. I just adore his name!

When they went in for their 39 week check up on Wednesday, February 10th, the doctor said they were ready to have the baby, but that Liz may need a little help with some medication to move things along quicker. After checking with labor and delivery, it ended up being great timing. So they hopped in the car, drove next door, and checked into labor and delivery. Liz said everyone was soooo wonderful!  And I can attest for that, as I have had two of my own babies at Summit and I absolutely love the people and the experience there!

They started the medication about 10:30 am, broke her water at 11:15, and by 7:00 p.m. Liz was at 10cm and they were ready to meet their little man! She pushed for a short 20 minutes and at 7:20 p.m. they brought their precious miracle, Vincent into this world! He weighed in at 7 pounds 5 ounces and 20.25 inches long.

They were thrilled to be blessed with a perfectly healthy baby boy and they cannot imagine their lives without him in it!

So sweet! I just love birth stories and happy endings, errr BEGINNINGS!

So everyone, meet Vincent. Every adorable, tiny ounce of him. ♡
